Audits should change the homepage, not decorate a slide deck
We run UX audits that end in a prioritized fix list tied to business goals — usually inquiries, bookings, or qualified leads.
Checklist we walk in the first pass
- Offer clarity — can a new visitor say what you do in five seconds?
- Primary CTA — one obvious next step above the fold
- Trust — real projects, clients, or process — not stock wallpaper only
- Forms — field count vs value; error states; mobile keyboard types
- Mobile navigation — thumb reach, sticky CTAs that do not block content
- Performance perception — hero weight and font loading
- Accessibility basics — contrast, focus, labels
Evidence over taste
Where possible we pair the audit with analytics (rage clicks, drop-offs) or a five-user hallway test. Opinions still matter; they should not be the only input.
Deliverable
Annotated screenshots, severity, and effort. Clients can sequence design and engineering without guessing.
That is how Rayaxis approaches UI/UX on marketing sites we also engineer.
